Clinical laboratory science is a branch of medical science that involves the analysis and interpretation of medical laboratory test results. The field encompasses a wide range of laboratory tests that are used to diagnose and monitor various diseases and conditions, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of medical treatments.

Education in clinical laboratory  typically begins with a Technician 2years diploma ,bachelor’s degree program in medical laboratory science or a related field. The program typically includes coursework in Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Immmunology,Histopathology including laboratory Techniques. Clinical rotations in Hospital laboratories are also typically required to gain hands-on training.

After completion of a diploma or bachelor’s degree program, students may choose to pursue certification in clinical laboratory science through organizations such as the Pakistan Medical Laboartory Association. Certification typically requires passing an exam and completing a specified clinical experience and for Assocaite Membership from pmla requires a Proof of Admission in an Institute.For membership of PMLA, there are registrars in every district of Pakistan, moreover, PMLA ONLINE MEMBERSHIP facility is also available at international and national level

Continuing education is also important in clinical laboratory science to stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques.
